Last Weekend of Summer

Another weekend has flown by and I've come to the realization that we have officially hit fall! The Lee family split up for the weekend......Kevin went on a golfing excursion to the Oregon coast while Dylan and I traveled east to Spokane for some quality time with his auntie, uncle and cousins, grandparents and my Uncle Hank & Aunt Kay from Montana. The three busy days included a day trip to Couer d' Alene for a Hudson's burger and time enjoying the sun on the beach, blueberry donuts from our favorite Spokane donut shop early Saturday morning, special time for me to take my nephew Dominic to Build a Bear to celebrate his 6th birthday, and attending a 30th birthday party for my dear friend Kalie on Saturday night! Whew! The only downer of our time there was due to my own clumsiness when I fell down my sister's staircase while carrying Dylan. I managed to spare him bodily harm but the fall resulted in some sprained toes on my left foot and complete loss of one whole toenail. OUCH!

In all a great weekend was had by all including Kevin who is slowly recovering from three days of golfing and drinking, Here are a few picture highlights....

Busy times

This past week has flown by, mostly because I went back to work completing a long-term sub at my former school. It's been a week of trying to get back on a schedule which includes getting up and out of the house, to daycare, to work and back home in time to stress about what I'm going to make for dinner! Thankfully I'll only be working full-time for the next eight weeks. =)
We have managed to have a lot of fun with Dylan on Labor Day (a trip to Remlinger Farms was a hit) and this past weekend when we traveled back to the good old Palouse. Dylan loved going to the Palouse Empire Fair with his Grandma and Grandpa while Kevin and I enjoyed going to Pullman for the Coug game.....well we enjoyed it until the game actually started then we got a bit depressed- 66 to 3 hurts!

Leptich Wedding

Saturday we enjoyed a fun-filled evening at Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Course celebrating our friends' Razi and Stephen's wedding. Everything was picture perfect- beautiful surrounding, pleasant weather and of course a gorgeous bride! Dylan joined us in the celebration and did as best as one can hope for a two year old. He had a great time dancing with all of my girlfriends at the reception and enjoyed all of the attention he receives wearing his adorable little suit! The best part of the night was spending time with my college girlfriends. It's not often we get everyone together anymore so it was a special treat!
