Dylan and I started swimming lessons this week. I'd hardly call it "lessons" as it is basically playtime in the pool with the little ones, but so far it has been great fun! I signed up for the class with two of my co-workers and their 18-month girls. On Monday when I picked up Dylan from daycare to take him to swimming he did not want to go "No swimming!" he told me. I waged the battle from changing him, changing myself, etc and finally got him to the pool. One minute after getting in the wading pool and he was hooked! He had so much fun swimming with me and then decided he was brave enough to jump from the side of the pool into my arms.....which he proceeded to do about 50 times! The last five minutes they let the little ones go down a small slide into the wading pool. He couldn't get enough of it and grinned and laughed the whole time. I managed to get a few pictures on Wednesday of him in the wading pool before the lesson started. Hopefully I'll be able to get more in the future.
