Mother's Day

Today was Mother's Day (which in the last two years has quickly become my favorite holiday!) We celebrated the day by going to the Mariner's game. Dylan was very excited when we made it into the stadium and was pretty much in awe at first. He was highly impressed by the grounds crew (they had hoses) and then the Mariner Moose! During the 3rd inning he got a bit restless so we decided to take a little walk and get a snack. While I was in the bathroom Kevin and Dylan found the line to visit the Moose's Den and get a picture with the famous critter. So...we stood in the line for about 10 minutes and Dylan was excited to see him. Then we got to the front of the line right up to the Moose and he FREAKED out! He immediately started crying and saying "No way" and literally everyone in line started laughing! I thought maybe if I gave the moose a hug he might realize he was being a bit over dramatic but seeing me give the "scary" beast a hug made him cry worse! Needless to say we did not get a picture of that terrorizing ordeal. However we did manage to watch the whole game (minus the homerun hit to our section during our Mariner Moose disaster) and a win by the Mariners! So in all it was a great day and I loved spending it with my favorite boys.


Dylan was so exhausted by the end of the game he fell right asleep in the car on the way home. He had his little Mariner hat on and it completlely covered his face. Too cute!
