Life Update

Well, it's official. I am 30 years old and back living in my parents basement. It's funny to move back into the room I slept in all through high school but now share it with my husband (Dylan resides on the 2nd floor which makes for a long climb early in the morning when he wakes up). We've managed to make ourselves at home and are so thankful to have my parents who are willing to put up with us until our house sells and we can purchase something here in Spokane. It's actually been quite nice so far! We are so thankful for our family support with this move- from my mom who busted her tail helping me get our house ship shape for resale, to both sets of grandparents for caring for Dylan this past week, and my sister and her family for keeping Zoe for us until we get a new place. Wow- we are so fortunate!
As for the status on our house.....it went on the market on Wednesday and we had our first offer that night! We had to go through the process of counter offering but it looks like we have a deal and will hopefully close on July 17th. So now we are starting to look more seriously at neighborhoods and what is out there. We definitely aren't looking for our "dream house" at this point but rather something in a good neighborhood with families and kids, a fenced yard for dear old Zoe Dog, and room for our family to grow. It's exciting to be looking forward to this next life chapter.
