Well, we officially have a 4 year old in the Lee household. Like every parent I've been shaking my head in disbelief and wondering where 4 years has gone. So far we've celebrated with a Superhero themed "friend" party, cupcakes at preschool, a Build-a-Bear excursion with Auntie Darcy and dinner with the fam (including cousin Evan who turned 11 today) at Red Robin! This weekend we'll end the celebrations with a family BBQ and help Grandpa Lee celebrate his 60th birthday next week!

Dylan seems to grow up and become more of a little man everyday. He has changed SOOOOO much over the last year-- and is definitely becoming his own person. He loves playing with the neighbor kids, riding his bike, playing games, doing puzzles and drawing. Last week he was asked to be used as a "test subject" in some developmental testing that his teacher was being trained in. From the results we have learned that he's right on track developmentally for a 4 year old (physical skills, gross motor, fine motor and thinking skills) but that he is off the charts as far as his verbal skills. Anyone that's had a conversation with this kid will agree. I'm not sure if this is a good thing because he's starting to be quite the negotiator to get something he wants....do we possibly have a lawyer or salesman on our hands? Who knows! For now, we continue to enjoy the simple life of being Dylan's parents and the daily joys and challenges that come with it. We love our little man!
