I'll be 37 weeks along tomorrow and I must admit these last few weeks are starting to feel like an eternity. On Monday, I had planned to sub but woke up with frequent and regular contractions so I called and cancelled, waited a few more hours and then went to see the Doc. He told me I was starting to dialate (only to 1.5) and my cervix was thinning but didn't seem too concerned that I was in "real" labor so I was told to call if the contractions changed (got stronger, closer together, etc) or if I had any other changes. Well, of course I woke up Tuesday morning and had very few contractions all day-- so needless to say it wasn't the real deal. I'm just crossing my fingers that there will be some change by my next doctor's appointment. I'm ready to have this baby!! Mostly because I feel like I can barely walk due to constant pressure, I can't get comfortable to sleep, and most of all I just want to meet her!
In the meantime, I'm trying to keep busy, planting my potted plants, cleaning house and getting baby stuff organized, and most of all, spending precious time with my little love bug while he's still an only child. Yesterday we made sugar cookies together.....and now with his new fondness for rhyming we've renamed them "booger cookies." Sounds appealing huh? Trust me though they are good- I've certainly taste tested my share!

Hang in there! She will be here before you know it!! I am really, really, really hoping that she is early... for your comfort (of course!), and so I can meet her when I visit in June!!!
