One Fine Day

I was treated to the perfect Mother's Day this year. Starting out with gifts and a homemade card (by Dylan) brought to me in bed. Followed by a sunny drive to the Couer d' Alene Resort for a delicious and oh so fattening buffet brunch-- thank goodness I'm already fat and ridiculously pregnant. I felt no guilt going back for a 2nd huckleberry crepe (among other things). AMAZING!

Can you believe that belly?? I cannot imagine it getting bigger but I have 4 1/2 weeks left so it's probably inevitable. The yummy food probably didn't help the cause either.

Dylan was impressed by the large chocolate fountain. I helped him dip a marshmallow and graham cracker in it. When we got to the table I had barely sat down and he had managed to stuff the entire marshmallow in his mouth. Needless to say chocolate was dripping from his face, onto his clothes, the table....pretty much everywhere. But boy was he happy!

We continued the day by heading down to Colfax to spend the afternoon and evening with Grandma & Grandpa Lee and the rest of the family for a Mother's Day BBQ. We even let Great-Grandma's turtles out in the grass for some turtle races! I'm loving the sun and hoping it sticks around a while!
