First Game of Hoops

Saturday was Dylan's first basketball game.  He's playing in a Christian sports league called "Upward" www.upward.org that is awesome.  It's very positive and emphasizes good sportsmanship and learning the game as well as letting all kids play.  This is the perfect environment for our timid boy to learn a new sport.  At each game they do a starting line-up and have the players announced as they run through an inflatable tunnel to "jock jam" type music. Dylan thought it was so cool.  Next week he'll start and will be announced so I'll definitely get it on video. I'm so proud of our boy-- is he the best player out there?  No. (But thankfully he's not the worst either).  I'm hoping the whole experience builds his self confidence and love of the game.  His daddy loves basketball so I know he's hoping Dylan will too.

As a side note, my camera totally sucks at taking action/sports type pictures.  With my new goal of saving money can I save for a new fancy camera???
