Day on the Lake

I think everyone who lives in the Seattle area can agree that it is probably one of the most beautiful places to live when the sun comes out and it stops raining! We certainly enjoyed what Seattle has to offer this weekend when we joined friends Nick and Kim on their boat for an afternoon on the lake. After a quick trip to fetch a life jacket for Dylan, (who then wanted to wear it in the store-- sorry no child of mine is walking around Target in a personal floatation device)and a beer and snack run to Safeway, we had all the necessities for a fun day in the sun! Dylan had an absolute blast on the boat and is already talking about going fishing with Dad and "Uncle" Nick. Here's to many more sunny days to come (I hope)!
