Moving on....

After 8 years living and working in the Seattle area we are officially going "home" to the other side of the mountains! As most of you know, this has been a goal of ours for the last few years, especially since Dylan joined us and we felt the great desire to live a slower pace, have our parents closer to us and in our opinion improve our way of life. Last week Kevin put his name in for an open position with Enterprise in Couer d' Alene but neither of us had much faith that he would be considered since Spokane/Couer d' Alene is a different region and they usually like to promote their own people, however after an interview Wednesday he got a call on Thursday and was offered the position. He immediately accepted and when the person who called asked if he needed to consult his wife, Kevin replied, "nope I already know her answer."
Now the real work has begun! Since Kevin will be starting next Monday, June 8th we have a fire lit to get our house packed and ready to put on the market. The majority of today was spent packing up closets and getting rid of items that have collected during 5 years here. We are so excited for our next adventure and what life has to hold for us and also feeling a bit sad to leave our life here in Seattle. There will definitely be people and things that we will miss but we are so glad that we will still be close enough for visits and fun events.
Dylan and I will be here for a few more weeks getting things settled on this end and preparing our house for sale.....please pray that we get a buyer so we can find something soon in Spokane!
