Now that the weather has finally turned, Dylan is busy taking full advantage of the summer days-- water gun fights with his cousins, slip n' sliding with the neighbors, swimming at the pool, and riding his bike (which he has learned to do without training wheels- a whole post in itself to come on that). Last year we moved into our house at the tail end of summer so it's fun to watch D enjoy being a kid in his own domain.
This week he started Vacation Bible School that a local church puts on with over 750 kids for FREE. He's having a blast and I'm finding it interesting getting all three of us out of the house by 8:30 to be there on time each morning....so far I've managed to shower beforehand both days! I'm quite proud of myself! Next week he'll start swimming lessons so that will be fun too. Ah the joys of summer...and not working!
